Community Resources
Based on feedback from over 650 applicants, we understand that not everyone can join our program. However, we are dedicated to supporting and uplifting all aspiring entrepreneurs. We host quarterly events like the Hulilau Market, a low-cost traveling market for women-owned businesses, and Pouhana Mixers, family-friendly networking events with educational activities. Additionally, we offer online resources, including videos from industry-leading experts. At Hawaiʻi FoundHer, we are constantly exploring new ways to build and strengthen our community support.
Mākeke Hulilau
In 2022, we launched a mākeke inviting all wāhine-owned businesses in Hawai’i to join the FoundHer community. We named this mākeke “Hulilau”, in honor of all the women and mothers who have so much to offer on top of the responsibilities carried in their ‘ohana and communities.
Pouhana Mixers
Pouhana Mixers are quarterly family-friendly networking events with educational prompts, designed to foster leadership and reliability within our community. Named after the pouhana, which symbolizes essential support and strength, these events aim to create a dynamic and interconnected network of women entrepreneurs.
